What Lies Beneath?

Noting recently a number of newspaper articles on how the Internet has become the destination of choice for adulterers, bullies, terrorists, paedophiles, pornographers, politicians, exam cheats, fraudsters and boy bands I am moved to leap to its defence. All of the above are facets of the human condition and the Internet is simply a method through which they express their vice. It is not the vice itself.

Nevertheless, finding all these peddlers of misery as abhorrent as the next upstanding member of mother earth, I thought it wise to investigate whether the allegations against the Internet are true. So where better to start than with the moral imperatives of The Ten Commandments? Simply click on any of the links below to see what I found…..

You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife

You shall not covet your neighbour’s house

You shall not bear false witness

You shall have no other gods before me

You shall not make yourself an idol

You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God

Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy

Honor your parents

You shall not murder

You shall not commit adultery

You shall not steal
